I have been pulling out my heat gun quite alot for the time being. Samantha and I have been embossing as much as we have ever been. We are still sizzix cutting out thin chipboards and experimenting what else we could add onto them to make beautiful embellishments out from them. On the right of this layout, I painted the chipboard, add patterned paper, embossed over it and add UTEE to finish. If you haven't tried UTEE.. please do..its real great fun!

This year we had a nice get together over at Michelle's for Halloween. We had lollies + swimming + dressing up + cake + party, boy.. the kids were thrilled! My nice and nephew joined us this time. Its their very 1st Halloween Party, Gayn was there too! (I think its her very first halloween party too), although, she was busy going through Michelle's cook books and asking for recipes.. but she babysat alot too! (Sisters are always handy when it comes to babysitting..hehehe). All kids left with a bag full of munchies and lollies. The party started at 5pm lasted til 8pm. My kids went to bed abit later that night too! Sigh..

1. Very diplomatic, so people say. Can never say NO for an answer.
2. I can never work on a messy desk! Especially my scrapping desk! I will have to tidy desk before starting on my projects.
3. Never really liked putting on lotion. They are too messy and icky for me!
4. Loves to go on family holidays. Favourite place ~ BALI.
5. Loves long sleeves shirt + Levi's.
6. Also loves to dress in all black or all white!
7. Always counts in 3s. Especially tiles. When I've spotted tiles anywhere..floor tiles, bathrooms, any rooms for that matter, I always count to see if the tiles are in 3s. Its weird, I know, but I do it for whatever reason it is..

I've Got MaiL!

My first kit finally arrived today in the mail! This kit I ordered from the Creating Keepsakes Website. Its Lisa Bearnson's September Travel Kit 2007. I absolutely cannot wait to get cracking on this! I strongly encourage scrappers who are thinking of purchasing kits from CK website, to go ahead and do so. CK is reliable and doesn't take too long for package to arrive. Kits are not too pricey too! I know I love mine!

Raya Holidays

On raya day, as usual, we visited family all morning and afternoon. Had the whole afternoon to pack for our Phuket, Thailand trip the very next morning. Flight was 9am so we had to get kids ready by 5am to be at the airport by 7am.

Arrived Phuket and checked into Sheraton Laguna Phuket and we were given these beautiful garlands. The kids immediately did this.. they suddenly knew about the thai culture...

Then we went for our elephant rides.. boy..they were scary.. so high..


and yes ofcourse we got the kids to braid their hair too!

We would like to wish everyone "SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN" especially to my friends and family in Brunei.
As we will be away for the short raya holidays, we wish everyone well and safe.

Samantha and I have been spending alot of time in Scrappingville just playing around with chipboards and UTEE! We are absolutely having so much fun just making our very own embellishments. We are both working on our MM 9 x 9 mini albums, same theme ~ Family Album. Samantha said today, if we could, we'll be embossing Diane (Scrappingville's assistant) too!

Yes, Ariff was celebrating the blast off of Angkasa 1 yesterday. He wore rockets and buzzlight year pjs two nights in a row! Father was proud of "his" son.. oh and Angkasa 1.. while watching the blast off on Astro
