This year Nadia & I decided that we should take part in the school's International Food Fest, Sri KDU. All profits made from the sale goes to a list of charity community Sri KDU distributes to. You learnt about charity, about money, about selling, about leading.
I spent the whole day baking cookies the day before aiming for 100 giant cookies to break even, but only managed to bake 70 - 80 giant cookies and got all baked out by dinner time.
I had no idea how determined you'd be with selling the cookies we made. You insisted to bring the cookies round to sell instead of just selling them at the stall, with that, our cookies sold out by 10am! Cookies were pretty standard in taste but I think what really matter was the packing of the cookies. It was definitely a mother & daughter experience together. I enjoyed doing it together, I really think you did too. I had no idea how motivated you can get with selling the cookies, you helped, you took charge, you led, you worked. It was definitely an experience worth it. Great job, girl.
Mr Roderick, school principal stopped to snap a picture too!
