The Best of Me Album..

From the class we had with Kah Mei Smith in Scrappingville. Album is 6x6. I made this album about the Best of each of child and their favourites. Class was only 3.5 hours. Kits/classes are available now in Scrappingville.

An Idea for a Mother's Day Gift

Easy project + low cost + little time = Hanging Canvas

The techniques are.. {painting with acrylic paints, stamping with StazOn or Chalk Fluid (different outcome, depending on what look you're going for), distressing with petroleum jelly, adding buttons or flowers, attaching screw and ribbon on top of canvas for hanging}.

Tuesday

Altered Chest Bag

Mich got me this absolutely cute adorable bag from Spotlight, Singapore. I was so excited to alter it and see what I could come up with. The most difficult part was deciding the theme for it. Finally, I decided cover the front bag with Teresa Collins Patterned Paper, Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps, Fabrics I had in my stash, Beeswax, 7Gypsies ABC Stickers, American Crafts Rub-ons, German Scraps Embellishments.

This is for storing my little knick knacks I've been keeping for scrapping one day. Quotes I have collected, etc. I intend to also have pockets on the inside so I can store little bits of paper and what not.

Mich, I can't wait to see yours..

Sunday

Home Album

Celebrate!

Hubby home from Perth. I think he feels bad for not taking me, especially being Perth, our once home for many many years. He knows how much I miss the place, so he bought me this, A CUTTLEBUG!! He went searching for the shop for this.. I truly appreciate it, honey..

In return, we had a barbeque for all the April Babies..
Makmah + Hubby + Nadia + Dalilah + Intan + Fahmy

I'm proud to show you my little under develop skill with the flower centre pieces, nothing fancy but at least something.

Thursday

Fiber-Licious

Inspired by an Australian scrapbook artist, I've decided to attempt at it myself and play. To my surprise, it was easy and very very fun. If you have fibers that are lying around and you don't know how to incorporate them into your creations, here is one way to use them.

Sunday

Vintage Time Album

This is for me. Just to celebrate Time is Precious.. especially time spent with the kids/family/friends are time well spent.
This album is quite different from the previous one. I challenged myself to do another album completely in a different colour as you can see here. Painted the cds in black gesso before i started any decorating. Papers are 7Gypsies, lots of lace, Maya Road chipboards, 7Gypsies A - Z Stickers (new in store).
Rule of thumb here is to finish embellishing every page BEFORE adding the lace ribbon.

Monday

HaPpY BirThdaY!!

I made this album for Nadia turning 9.

In every page, a quote to remind her of the things she should not forget especially after her 9th birthday she turn 9.

Things like, there's always tomorrow; ~ only to mean if you didnt succeed today, try again tomorrow

laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone; ~

if a thing is worth doing, do it well; ~ no half hearted business..

two heads are better than one; ~ teamwork, baby!

if at first you don't succeed, try and try again ~ never give up, keep trying.

Happy Birthday my little big girl..

As for bigger girl, Happy Birthday Ning..

Here's something for you.. I'm sure if i'm there, we would be doing this..

Miss you heaps..

Thursday

The Simple Things}

Dira is the most simplest gal ever. Just today she said to me, "Mama, my GOODEST day is when kakak is nice to me".

Same goes with the story behind this layout. When I brought her to the yatch club, Brunei, she was thrilled to just play on the shore, no toys..just splashing water.. the simplest thing makes her little day a great one.

Wednesday

Cabin Preassure.. Baby Hair?

This picture was taken on our way back from our Brunei Trip in the plane.

Ariff, or he refers himself as "Baby", has curly wurly hair. We sometimes called him, Mr Noodle.. but when he gets on the plane, his hair completely goes flat!! We have been observing him everytime he goes on a plane must be the...CABIN PREASSURE. Hahahaha, both sister laughs.. [although.. i'm not sure if preassure is spelt correctly..sigh..oh well]

Tuesday

Fashionable Hairdo

A layout I made for Dira's conversation with Grandma.

Grandma says,"Wow, your hair is so fashionable today." Dira answers,"Its not fashionable, its only a hairdo, Grandma!"

I'm documenting my everyday thereabouts and routine of the kids and myself.

Sunday

On a typical Saturday Afternoon..

On a typical Saturday afternoon, especially after a night of Scrapping..

I'm home and when I'm not in Scrappingville, and wants to do something other than scrapping, I get up to mischief with the kids.. we played dress up!! Found Kimonos, never worn, Grandma bought them the last trip to Japan.

I can safely say, the little MAN of my Life..

On a typical Saturday afternoon, Hubby gets the kids on the Nintendo WII.. so much for the exercise, hubby gubby, and for being in the outdoors!

If you dont know what a Nintendo WII is, its this game you plug onto the tele, everything wireless.. looks very funny especially when hubby and the kids are playing Boxing or Ice skating (one of their favourite games) .. hahaha. None of those pics allowed, so hubby says! Muahahaha.. we'll see about that!

Saturday

Ariff turns 2 on Easter Day

I know, I have been bad with blogging lately, but only because we had so much going at Scrappingville (moving, making sure everything is settling in well, blah blah blah), at home (kids were off school for a week), my scrapbook projects.

Ariff turned 2 YESTERDAY, and my DAY was pretty much filled with activities, errands to run to get everything organised for the family dinner. Routine of the day were as usual, both the kakaks had school today, egg collage at Scrappingville, groceries for the dinner, yada yada yada.

I managed to get the kids together (cousins included) to bake a cake for Ariff, its not the perfect looking cake, but the effort they put in and their creativity was worth the while. Kids were so proud of the cake they made, and may I add it tasted quite good too! Mama had second helping!

Thursday

Sneak Peak ~ My Earth Layout

This layout I did for Scrappingville April's Earth Layout. I'm so happy with the results. I have never done an Earth layout ever. So I thought this layout is very fun to do especially when there's a little tree involve.
Fun, fun, fun.
