As you can probably tell, i am trying to use as much handwritten journalling as i can. Prior to reading and doing the exercises in the Heidi Swapp Handwriting book, I have learnt that we can learn to love our very own handwriting. This layout took me only minutes to put together. The journalling was written first in pencil then trace over with acid-free black marker. Ok maybe I'm into the swirly thingy at the moment, yes Ning, swirly is done with free hand. May i also add Ning is very hesitant with writing anything, even if its just a line! But hopefully after the Swapp book that she might be more daring to write her journalling. We'll see.. I guess I can also say my new year's resolution would be to hand write my journalling more now. Hehehe. We'll see about that!

Wow...am impressed with the handwriting. Nice font. Hey I'm practising my handwriting too! Yesterday I wrote the date of photo taken for a layout. (I practised on scrap paper 20 times first) hahahahahha.
I really like this layout. I dun think i'll ever dare to doodle or handwrite so much on any of mine. I think i should really get around to opening my heidi swapp exercise book too. hehe.
Did you cut out the photo corners and tabs with your sizzix?
yes.. let's all do the exercises in the book. lets just say that the book helps me realise how i can better my handwriting-by changing a different pen maybe? hahaha. nah thought i'll use up the k&co tags and corners set (the one that comes in a pretty tin box)in my stash.
must say sizzix photo corners dont have many shapes except for the plain one really. but nings managed to get a few sizzix thin dies with a few different corner dies.. quite cute. i dont really fancy doing alot of die-cutting using the thinner dies, but however i dont mind cutting using the thicker large dies, cuts easier, so i tend to buy more of those instead and the thicker dies have only the normal photo corner type. what a bummer!
