Favors for our Special Mel-a-ni

Yay! to Si Mel-a-ni! I happened to bump into these lovely sweet sweet hand fans, thought they'd be just right for a wedding function!! Mel mentioned that she might give these away during her berbedak function. Colour of sachets are creme/gold, thought they'll go well with the theme colour of the function green or creme ( i was told). Hope you like them, Mel. Can't wait.

Woohoo 1st ever comment on a blog from me!! anyway, I love the fans! Very classy! It's a great, useful gift and very appropriate for berbedak. I think 50 should be enough, cos we intend to give to only the ones that 'caluk' me (I hope that's the right word). The rest will get a container of assorted cakes, I think. Hey, thanks for this, it saves me alot of money and one more thing I can cross off my list of things to do.

Looks like I'll need your help to source the gifts for the bersanding event rather than me getting from Jakarta as originally planned. Plus you have proven yourself able to find really good gift ideas, hehhe!! Anyway, see if you can source for something in the range of B$1.50 to B$2.50 each and I'll need 500pcs. Something useful and good quality. Most importantly though, it has to look expensive and standard sikit lah!! Provide options. Heehee...let me know if I'm asking for too much now.

Mel..i think its" menculik" not caluk...brings back memories of those concert days...that word you used when you wanted the stage hands to prop up the board! hahahahahaha.....

the fans are a wonderful gift..very practical...even if the men who "MENCULIK" you get it..they can give it to their wives..

you should reconfirm with your mum and write down a list of who will culik you...might be more than 50!

well done shar...

Oh Mel..... yeah Ning, I remember the word that Mel used during the concert days (I wasn't there, Ning told me about it).
Instead of saying 'Sandarkan', Mel said something to the effect of making a certain part of the anatomy stand. Hahahaha
Yes, I like the idea. Great job Shar. Hope I get a chance to 'caluk' Mel....

Ok, so it's culik then and not caluk. (but doesn't that mean kidnap??). Great, another one, I'll never live down. I should start a blog and it would be about an asian dumb blonde's quest into learning the Brunei language which is so rich and unique, blah, blah but always seems to trump me up. haha. but hey, I'm pretty good now, you know.

Hihi

I noticed you're from KL, I am making a trip there next week and I was hoping to be able to visit some scrapbooking shops. Would you be able to name me some places that I can go to? I'll be staying at Traders, KLCC...
