Kids + Weekend = Activities

I was feeling like arts + crafts on Saturday morning, too lazy to leave home to take kids to Art Attack, so I pulled out the Art Attack book I bought for the kids ages ago and decided to build a castle. We finally made used of all the toilet rolls we've been saving all these months..

After putting up the castle structure with toilet rolls + masking tape, only did I realise, we should have done only 1 castle! Boy, did this kept me busy for the rest of the weekend. If you're curious, we still have not managed to finish the castle just yet. We have painted them and put windows in.. now all we've gotta finish is the glitter cone roof! We will try to finish that this weekend.

You and your kids look good. Ok, this is from someone who is a non-scrapper, I can't see how you could have so many empty toilet rolls stored away. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Yeah Shar..you look really good! Looks like lots of fun..bet you ended up doing everything!

Mel..when you have kids who always want to do arts and crafts..you'll start keeping cereal boxes, tissue boxes, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, yoghurt tubs etc etc...I have a box full of these!

hehehehehe..give a kid some PVA glue, a couple of boxes and scissors and they'll keep quiet for hours!!

Where is Art Attack in KL? Is it a place where they teach the kids to do arts and crafts?

Oh goody! Art Attack is in KL. My kids love watching Art Attack on Disney Channel. They've even ask me to buy the magazines from the bookshops here. I'm sure they'll love it there! One day, we'll go there!!
