Zoo Negara

Thank you so much for all the comments for the Grandpa's Album. Figured the altered Dvd folder would be a better album for the sailing photos simply because I could put in as many photos as I want into it, just keep adding pages. But here is an album with much lesser photos of our recent trip to the Zoo. I have been wanting to scrap the kid's zoo photos forever, from Perth Zoo (2years ago) to this recent trip to Zoo Negara, Malaysia (a few weeks ago).

I found in my stash that I had animal prints acid free patterned papers lying around in my pile of papers!! Only remembered I had them after I did a major tidying up of my scrap area.

Also I found animal brads from Eyelet Outlet, I bought ages ages ago.. hehehe..sometimes you really don't know what you'll find after tidying up...hehehe

Every page I sanded for an aged look..

Because I cleared up all my scrapping mess, I misplaced the brochures I took back from the Zoo. So I printed out the map of the Zoo from the Website. The website was so helpful, I even included the names of the animals listed on the website.. great fun!

(Album: Making Memories Boho Chic Mini Album; Patterned Papers: Scrapworks Animal Prints; Cardstock: Bazzill; Brads: Eyelet Outlet, Stickers: Japanese Brand from Kinokuniya Bookstores Kuala Lumpur)

Wah...u've been busy! U've reminded me that photos from our trips to Perth Zoo and Singapore Zoo are still sitting in my "Photos To Scrap" box!!

Been busy..recovered from flu that I caught in Spore, unpacked everything and now I know I should be cleaning up Tim's room and get things ready for Baby. Am just so not in the mood yet..

Did a bit of scrapping though...am enjoying painting chipboards and I owe you pictures of goodies that Ms Lo sent me...

I got the 9x9 shadow box from Ikea Spore and did one LO already..will post it asap..

Hi Shar!
After seeing all your mini albums posted, I declare that I shall call you the "Mini Album Queen"!! It might not sound that glamorous but nevertheless, you deserve it!!

Am really inspired as I've never done this kinda project yet. I think for a start I should try the Book of Alterations (think that's what it's called). Saw it when Sleepless was doing it during crop nite @ Shabby's last month.

I'll definitely know who to refer to for mini book/album projects. Way to go with the fantastic inspirations!

Oh! Hope you don't mind but I've linked you in my blog *wink*
