Sunday

It's a friendship that's absolutely adorable & so much fun

Gayn & Nadia taken during Christmas. They almost look just like friends. My daughter can pose, I don't teach her how to pose. I sure do hope it's not a natural thing, I guess I can blame it on Hannah Montanna, being a superstar/rockstar. Kids nowadays are growing up too fast, right before our eyes! She's almost as big as my tiny sister!

They both have this great bond, almost like buddies, which I think Gayn finds it funny.. I don't.

Details here are words from Teresa Collins Patterned Papers, Alphabets are American Crafts, K & Co Christmas Tags (which I covered with Crackle Accents from Ranger, clay embellishments from Melissa Frances.

Saturday

3 is a crowd

Mainly using Basic Grey Patterned Papers otherwise 7Gypsies too.  Naturally, I wanted a more orangey  layout, that was my vision in my head before I started but hey I think I'm glad I didn't cos if I did, I would have finished this layout with the picture lost and covered by the patterned papers surrounding it.

I love details now, only maybe cos I've cleared 'most' of my scrap table and can possibly see what I have and use what I can see.

Tim Holtz's Grunge Board (again, something I can see/use after tidying up) inked with Adirondack's Stream Pigment Ink Pad. Love stream, the colour.

Friday

Like Father, Like Son

Some say they look very much alike. To me, I think Ariff has managed to have a very blended look from both hubby and I. Being the only son, there is always this tendency to leaning towards buying similar shirts or shorts as to daddy's. In this case, its exactly the same shirt, not bought by me, I may add. Yes, I do confess to getting them to 'co-incidently' wear it on the same day!

still.. there's always questioning about where the curly-wirlies are from.

Materials used: Basic Grey Patterned Papers,  K & Co Die Cuts, Collections Patterned Papers, Scenic Route chipboard pieces.

Wednesday

PERFECTIONIST

without-a-doubt.. This is what Nadia is. Perfectionist. I have no idea where she gets it from, surely it's not me where she's inherited a gift to be very organised in everything she does, let it be her dressing to preparing to go out, to the arrangement she's got on her study desk, to having clear boxes to store her like knick-knacks, etc. I'm so pleased with this girl in terms of that. This I have to give a very huge '+ point' for she is good in what she does and it to its fullest!

Materials used: Basic Grey Patterned Papers, Far Flung Craft Patterned Paper, K & Co Die Cuts, Fabric from my creative finds; Polka Dots Brown, Collections Chipboard pieces; Butterfly and thick alphabet cardstock. 7Gypsies 97% Complete Stickers; Labels, American Crafts Alphabet Foam Stickers.

PERFECTIONST.. without a DOUBT.

It's HOT in here ..

Oh it's just.. ME!

~ Nadira.

I finally got my creative 'mojo' back. Feeling so much better from all the morning sickness.. yes, I have a 'bun in the oven' and I'm 5 months preggies now.. Baby #4 is on the way..

So it's the Chinese New Year holidays and we took the kids to a resort just for our usual beach + pool fun. Very Sunny + Hot and Dira's just gotten her new shades, and this is what she says..

In her Playhouse Disney-influenced, American slang, "it's HOT in here, oh wait.. it's just.. ME!" hehehe
