Thanks Mama!

Thought I'd try scrapping Dira's art work! Been wanting to do this ages ago finally got round to it! Its quite a challenge as to how I was gonna scrap this.. The first one was pretty simple I didnt want to cut too much out nor cover too much so I left it as pretty much as it is. With the Whales LO, I managed to cut every image out. Stamped whales with Autumn Leaves Clear Alphabet Stamps (absolutely loving them at the moment). Pictures are not too clear, took these pictures with my phone..hehehe hope you'll find them ok.

My soon-to-be Recipe Album
I have been trying to put together a family recipe album for myself. My target is to compile all the in-house specialities cooked at home especially during the weekends. I am going to have sections for asian & western cooking, rice dishes, noodles, soups etc, ahh and not forgetting the baking recipes my kids and I do at home. With all the entertaining we do at home, I have a few tips I want to share with the kids and their children's children. So.. fingers crossed.. will blog it when I finish this album soon.. at this point in time, I'm still compiling the pictures of the delicious food..yumm..
This album is an American Craft 8x8 album. I covered the front cover with 7Gysies patterned paper, Autumn Leaves assorted buttons, cosmo cricket chipboards..

Dira Says.. mini Tag Album
I made this mini tag album for all the questions Dira has asked me, all the funny things she's said to me.. I have compiled them all and added nearly all in this cute album. Dira is such a sunshine to me, in fact, I have nicknamed her mama's sunshine. I have in this album also all the funny pictures of her.. pictures of her making funny faces and wearing funny glasses... I had soo much fun making this album.

I'm in the papers! So thrilled to find out that NST wanted to write about why I love my neighbourhood...Damansara Heights... that is..(not Brunei.. hehehehe) Hubby was thrilled too! especially the topic is my neighbourhood.. damansara heights.. yes he thinks he has fully converted me into a "Malaysian" by now.. he's thrilled. The article covers my life story of where I go nearly everyday... http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/Monday/Features/20070715161854/Article/index_html

A Great Find.
After the scrapbook party at Scrappingville today, I had a bit of time to spare before heading to the hairdresser's. I decided to shop around at the Marketplace, BSC and I found this. I have always wanted a charm bracelet. A real charm bracelet. This stall is so interesting, you can pick from the range of big/small bracelet/necklaces and my gawd .. and all kinds of charms.
The owner? She sources for the charms from her travels around the world.. so you can only imagine how long I spent picking my very own charms!!
The story of my charm bracelet? I decided to have a story that represents my children..so I have a baby crib, a baby giraffe, a milk bottle, a rocking chair, a fairy, a bumble bee, and a pail and spade.. all the beautiful things that reminds me of my children.
You have to pay this stall a visit.. its called Nicay...http://nicaycharmingstories.com/
